Course Objectives: This half day workshop is the IFPUG 230 course written by the IFPUG Counting Practices Committee (CPC) and licensed to Quality Plus Technologies, Inc. It covers all of the changes and clarifications of function point counting rules between the 1994 FP release (IFPUG 4.0) and the newly released 1999 FP release (IFPUG 4.1). This course is intended for measurement practitioners, function point counters, and Certified Function Point Specialists (CFPS 4.0 holders) to increase their knowledge. In addition, any current CFPS 4.0 holders will become current with the new release if they attend this class. Certificates will be issued directly by the International Function Point Users Group (IFPUG).
